Torrejón Astronomical Observatory

The opening hours of the Interpretation Center of Monfragüe Skies and the Astronomical Observatory are from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00h. and from 19:00h to 23:00h (winter time) and of 10:00 to 12:00h. and from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (summer time).

A place with such clear skies as the Monfragüe Biosphere Reserve had to have a place specially prepared for observing the universe. The Astronomical Observatory of
Torrejón el Rubio
 is one of the main resources of astrotourism that we can find in the territory.

Located on the outskirts of the village, in a restored building, it has three powerful telescopes from which to contemplatestars, planets and galaxies and enjoy a unique experience for adults and children.
